Fiona was originally recruited to D4i in the September of her freshman year by existing members of the club. She was attracted to the organization because of her prior interest in social entrepreneurship and a desire to learn more about the field, especially on how it can be applied for educational purposes.

As a member of the Events pod, Fiona works worth her lead and other club members to help plan design challenges. One highlight of her work includes her partnership with the Zero Waste Club, which helped in planning the design challenge between the two clubs and reaching out to outside experts on the issue of waste.
