Jimmy was attracted to D4i by its mission to improve K-12 education through the lens of design thinking. After attending his first design challenge, Jimmy realized how using the design thinking to solve real world problems, and knew he wanted to be a part of D4i.
This year in D4i, Jimmy has been working on the Events Pod to help plan design challenges and other D4i events. Jimmy has helped plan internal design challenges at Avenues along with larger design challenges including students from all over the world. Currently, D4i is preparing to attend SXSWedu coference, and Jimmy has been working with other members of D4i to plan the booth and summit which D4i will have at the conference.
