Caroline has been interested in K-12 education since she taught at a school in rural Yunnan, China. She has supplemented her passion for international education pedagogies with classes focusing on social innovation and entrepreneurship throughout her high school career.
Caroline has worked on various projects in D4i since their inaugural Design Challenge hosted at Avenues New York. She has been a key member in D4i's pivot from a student-led club to a student-led education startup company. Along with a team of two others, Caroline spearheaded a branch of D4i in the supplemental education sector.
Caroline has been with D4i since its first conference hosted at Avenues New York. Through 5th Term (a non-academic term at Avenues New York), Caroline and two other students spearheaded the first student-run 5th Term course. She learned a tremendous amount about product design and implementation in the form of curriculum and teaching.
